（中央社記者林宏翰桃園26日電）職棒中信兄弟隊今天表示，因為戰力考量，決定與洋投寇迪（Chris Cody）解約，新洋投克蘭頓今晚抵台報到。
美國籍右投手克蘭頓（Mike McClendon）現年30歲，身高196公分體重102公斤，2010年至2012年在美國職棒大聯盟釀酒人隊共35場後援出賽，投48.2局累積5勝0敗、自責分率3.88。
克蘭頓近2年在小聯盟、獨立聯盟、澳洲職棒都有出賽，2014年效力澳洲伯斯熱火隊（Perth），先發6場出5勝1敗，自責分率1.66，2015年在獨立聯盟約克革命隊（York Revolution），先發4場0勝2敗、自責分率4.56。
中信兄弟從2014年克蘭頓在澳洲職棒出賽時開始觀察，本季決定簽下他。克蘭頓表示，感謝球隊給機會，將盡力投出最好的成績。
左投寇迪去年下半季加入中信兄弟，14次先發7勝2敗、自責分率2.38，是兄弟拿下季冠軍的重要大將；今年寇迪繼續效力兄弟隊，但春訓受傷，直到5月才復出，本季只出賽2場就遭到解約。1040526
